Rather than having the completely glassy surfaces normally associated with Fluorite, many of the crystals are covered in an incredibly fine crystalline coating, creating the frosted, sugar-dusted appearance that gives this material its trade name of “Sugar Fluorite.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnder direct light, thousands of tiny crystal faces catch and reflect the light, giving the specimen a soft shimmer while the purple Fluorite remains visible underneath. In some areas the original Fluorite faces can still be seen clearly, creating a beautiful contrast between smooth geometric crystal forms and the sparkling sugary texture growing across them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe specimen is particularly sculptural, with layers of overlapping Fluorite surrounding small cavities and deeper purple crystal pockets.
