This striking mineral specimen from Morocco features beautiful peachy-pink bladed barite crystals layered across the piece, contrasted by dark metallic galena and associated cerussite. The barite forms delicate bladed and rosette-like formations, creating incredible texture with a soft, almost silky lustre.
Under UV light, the specimen reveals another side entirely, with areas of vivid purple fluorescence and bright yellow fluorescent highlights appearing amongst the crystals. It’s a particularly fun piece to explore under different lighting, transforming from soft peach and metallic grey in daylight to an electric constellation under UV.
Barite is traditionally associated with grounding and inner balance, while galena is often connected with stability and centring energy.
6cm x 5cm. Stand included.
Please note: As this is a natural mineral specimen, variations in colour, texture, inclusions and natural markings are part of its unique character. Colours may appear slightly lighter or darker in person and can vary depending on lighting conditions and screen settings. UV fluorescence can also vary depending on the wavelength and strength of the UV light used.
