A Gibbsite and Creedite specimen from Guizhou, China, featuring soft shades of turquoise blue, icy mint, silvery grey and creamy white.

The Gibbsite forms delicate, rounded and velvety-looking growths across the rugged matrix, with little pockets of pale aqua and brighter turquoise scattered throughout. Some areas have a fine, almost powdery crystalline texture, contrasting with the darker earthy layers beneath.

Small clusters of pale white to faintly lavender Creedite are nestled amongst the Gibbsite, forming delicate radiating sprays and tiny flower-like formations. The elongated shape of the specimen reveals layers of mineral growth, with subtle variations in colour and texture along its surface.

The combination of pastel blue Gibbsite, fine Creedite crystals and natural grey-brown matrix gives this piece an interesting, almost landscape-like appearance.

Gibbsite is traditionally associated with calm and emotional balance, while Creedite is often linked with clarity, intuition and creativity.
