An unusual Gibbsite and Creedite specimen from Guizhou, China, featuring soft shades of turquoise blue, pale lavender, icy white and silvery grey.

The Gibbsite forms delicate, rounded and velvety-looking formations in shades of bright aqua and pastel blue, creating little pockets of colour across the earthy grey matrix. Some areas have a soft, almost fluffy appearance, contrasting with the surrounding crystalline textures.

Scattered throughout are clusters of pale lavender and white Creedite, forming fine, radiating sprays that resemble tiny flowers. The delicate crystals catch the light with a subtle sparkle, while the combination of pastel colours and contrasting mineral textures gives the specimen plenty of natural detail.

The mixture of soft blue Gibbsite and delicate Creedite creates an interesting contrast between rounded mineral growths and fine, needle-like crystal formations.

Gibbsite is traditionally associated with calm and emotional balance, while Creedite is often linked with clarity, intuition and creativity.
