An incredibly detailed mineral specimen from the renowned Huanggang Fe-Sn Deposit, featuring soft blush-pink Calcite growing amongst Quartz and contrasting metallic Arsenopyrite.

The Calcite forms countless delicate, overlapping blades and tiny rosette-like formations, creating the appearance of a miniature crystalline garden. Scattered throughout are bright silvery Arsenopyrite crystals, adding beautiful contrast against the soft peachy-pink Calcite, with glassy Quartz and subtle green mineralisation tucked between the layers.

There is so much to discover up close in this piece. Larger Calcite blossoms sit amongst finer petal-like growth, while flashes of metallic silver appear throughout the matrix. The combination of soft pastel crystals and sharp metallic inclusions gives it such an unusual and beautifully complex appearance.

Huanggang is an important Fe-Sn mineral deposit in Inner Mongolia known amongst collectors for its diverse mineral assemblages and beautifully crystallised specimens. This combination of Calcite, Quartz and metallic Arsenopyrite is a wonderful example of the mineral diversity associated with the locality.

Calcite is traditionally associated with clarity and uplifting energy, while Quartz is often connected with clarity and amplification.
