Pink Hematoid Quartz - Antsirabe, Madagascar

A soft pink Hematoid Quartz cluster from Madagascar, featuring delicate blush, peach and translucent white crystal points.

The specimen is made up of naturally intergrown Quartz crystals of different sizes, with several larger terminated points rising above smaller formations. Fine reddish-orange Hematite inclusions and iron oxide staining give the crystals their gentle pink colouring, with some areas showing deeper rusty-red patches.

The crystals have a lovely glassy appearance, with subtle variations in clarity and colour throughout. Some points are almost completely translucent, while others contain fine internal veils and cloudy inclusions. The warm iron-rich matrix adds a little contrast to the pale pink crystals.

Hematoid Quartz is traditionally associated with grounding, emotional balance and clarity, combining the qualities often attributed to Quartz and Hematite.
