Silver Muscovite (Mica) Cluster 1 - Inner Mongolia, China
5cm by 4.5cm
Includes base
A silvery Muscovite cluster from the Huanggang Fe-Sn Deposit in Inner Mongolia, featuring delicate shades of pearl white, soft silver and pale grey.
The specimen is made up of densely intergrown, plate-like crystals arranged in overlapping layers and little fan-shaped formations. The thin mica blades have a subtle pearly lustre, catching the light along their edges and revealing fine natural growth textures.
Some crystals form small rosettes, while others spread outward in delicate, layered sprays. The combination of tightly packed formations and gently curved blades gives the specimen an almost floral appearance, with plenty of intricate details to admire up close.
Muscovite belongs to the mica group of minerals and is known for its distinctive layered crystal structure and pearly to silvery lustre. It is traditionally associated with clarity, reflection and emotional balance.
Mineral: Mica (Muscovite)
Locality: Huanggang Fe-Sn Deposit, Inner Mongolia, China
Please note: As this is a natural mineral specimen, variations in colour, crystal formation, inclusions, natural fractures and contact points are part of its unique character. The thin mica blades are delicate and may naturally flake if handled excessively. Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions and screen settings.
