Strawberry Quartz with Pyrite 3 - Jiangxi, China

6cm by 4cm
Comes with base

A delicate Strawberry Quartz cluster from Jiangxi, China, featuring soft blush-pink and translucent white crystals with fine reddish-orange inclusions.

The specimen is covered in an abundance of small, well-formed Quartz points, creating a sparkling, sugar-like surface. Tiny red mineral inclusions are scattered throughout the crystals, with some areas displaying more concentrated strawberry-pink colouring while others remain almost completely clear.

Small metallic Pyrite crystals are nestled amongst the Quartz, adding subtle golden and silvery accents. The densely packed crystal points form a gently rounded cluster, with delicate variations in colour, clarity and crystal size throughout.

This material is becoming increasingly difficult to source, with the producing mine reportedly closed and no new specimens currently being extracted. Existing pieces are therefore of particular interest to collectors of unusual Chinese mineral specimens.

Strawberry Quartz is traditionally associated with love, compassion and emotional balance, while Pyrite is often linked with confidence, protection and abundance.

Please note: As this is a natural mineral specimen, variations in colour, crystal formation, inclusions, natural fractures and contact points are part of its unique character. Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions and screen settings.
