Strawberry Quartz with Pyrite - Jiangxi, China

6cm by 3.8cm
Comes with stand

A lovely Strawberry Quartz specimen from Jiangxi, China, featuring soft shades of strawberry pink, coral and peach, with little metallic Pyrite crystals scattered throughout.

The specimen is covered in tiny Quartz crystals with reddish-pink mineral inclusions, creating a delicate, sugar-coated appearance. Small brassy-gold Pyrite crystals are nestled between the Quartz formations, adding a subtle metallic contrast to the warm pink tones.

The cluster has a naturally uneven surface, with little crystal pockets, sparkling druzy and densely packed formations across the matrix. Its combination of soft pink Quartz and metallic Pyrite gives the piece plenty of texture and detail to admire up close.

This material is also becoming harder to source, with the producing mine reportedly closed and no new specimens currently being extracted. Existing pieces are therefore of particular interest to collectors who appreciate unusual Chinese mineral specimens.

Strawberry Quartz is traditionally associated with love, compassion and emotional balance, while Pyrite is often linked with confidence, protection and abundance.

Please note: As this is a natural mineral specimen, variations in colour, crystal formation, inclusions, natural fractures and contact points are part of its unique character. Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions and screen settings.
