Pink Heulandite & Apophyllite 9

Soft, sparkling and beautifully textured, this specimen features several clear Apophyllite crystals scattered across a dreamy bed of naturally pink Heulandite.

The Heulandite forms a dense landscape of delicate bladed crystals in warm shades of blush, peach and dusty rose. Hundreds of tiny crystal faces catch the light across the surface, creating a beautiful pearly shimmer and giving the specimen an almost floral texture.

Several chunky Apophyllite crystals emerge from the pink Heulandite, ranging from clear to softly translucent with broad, glassy faces and fascinating internal textures. Their icy appearance creates a beautiful contrast against the warm pink matrix, while smaller crystals tucked amongst the Heulandite add little hidden points of sparkle throughout the piece.

This beautiful mineral association comes from India’s Deccan basalt formations, an area renowned amongst collectors for its exceptional zeolite specimens and striking combinations of Apophyllite and Heulandite.
